            NOW - 2018 -
                   Bio

(2010 - Voted twice 2nd Best artist of Ashland, Oregon in the Locals Guide)

Born and raised in Paris, France, I studied and worked as an artist and actress, in a castle in the Center of France with an artistic company,
“Le Centre de Recherche et de Réalisations Artistiques”. I mostly performed the French classic in Paris and rural areas, while focusing on my art training. (ref. "Theater" in site)
Later, when I moved to the United States, I continued to perform (American Shakespeare Theater, opposite Christopher Plummer, in Henry V) but focused equally on my artwork, exhibiting in New York City, Long Island, Montana and Oregon.  My interest in the theater has also given me the opportunity to create, with very large paintings, the set of Dori Appel’s play Tilt, in Talent, Oregon.

My body of works is eclectic -  It takes the form of imaginary portraits, figures and invented abstract landscapes. I use watercolor, acrylic, oil or mixed media collage. I am fascinated by the emotive expressiveness of the human body, communicating the broad spectrum of human relationships.

I am currently working on combining my poetry with artwork and exploring the longing expression of my  African, nomadic ancestry. I am also fascinated by the women's fashion of the Twenties, in Paris. I am developing small portraits for a future exhibit in the fall.

As for my writing, I Wrote a story for children ages 8-10  titled
"A Sahara Desert" -
It is bout the adventures of my grandfather in the Sahara, meetings Touareg tribe that led to the my mother's birth in the south of Niger.
